My fellow retards,
Evolution is not TOWARD something. Evolution is AWAY FROM.
A dream of a better world isn’t a bad thing. Even if it’s ego-driven to the point of wishing to be remembered far beyond your time—like Moses or Agamemnon, or NPH (elves assume), as long as you’re aimed at improved conditions for all mankind, you’re probably at least pointed in the right direction. (“mankind” doesn’t mean “everyone left after we’ve eradicated the undesirables” until they’re actually wiped out, and in the mean time you’re a super-douche…)
While commies and nazis might disagree as to which states of being are undesirable, nature draws a pretty hard line: The worst thing you can be is dead with no children to carry on your genes. Every other situation has some chips on the table—Jurassic Park / multiverse notwithstanding, when you’re out of this gene pool, you’re out.
Consider the billions of humans whose personal triumphs are lost to time.
Ozymandias ruled a kingdom where today there is nothing but sand, but if Ozymandias had a kid, and that kid had a kid, and so on down the line from then til now, Ol’ Ozzie still has chips on the board.
This is a circuitous way to say “evolution defines things by what they are not”, or to borrow a line from Omar Little; "A man got to have a code”
What isn’t Phonon DAO? What are the lines that will not be crossed at any cost, or for any gain? This is not just for phon/ongod to decide.
Governance without ethics is chaff for graft. The core of the DAO seems to be a group of genuinely decent human beings with strong shared values. Efforts to codify and make permanent those values must begin before the need becomes obvious.
This will happen at Phonon DAO.
Tips to phonongod.eth will be invested in bounties that advance the Phonon project.
Hatemail to phonongod@protonmail.com will be scathingly considered.
Targets for the marketcap of PHONON DAO remain:
$1b by Q2 2022, $12b by EOY.
On the high end, $300b marketcap in 3 years.
